Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mike is the co-founder of Instagram, which brings fast, beautiful photo sharing and storytelling to the iPhone and beyond. He is a graduate of Stanford's Symbolic Systems Program, where he wrote his Master's thesis on collaboration in Wikipedia-sized communities. Before co-founding Instagram, Mike worked at Meebo as a Visualization Engineer.
